C.A. Nicholas Reviews: Stephen King's "It"

How does a novel of one of my least favorite genres (horror) become one of my favorite stories out of any genre? Answer: By being a complex tale that defies horror conventions. It features comic relief that's effective, fully realized characters, and a monster who commits murder but is just as apt in tempting humans into carrying out atrocities against one another. It is an emotionally moving story that tackles the tragedy of lost innocence, racism, and abuse; as it emanates the necessity of faith, bravery, and love. 5 out of 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Content rating: 18+ for violence, horror, language, sexuality, and thematic material.
